Through Give for Growth, we support local initiatives in Nepal and India focused on children’s education and everyday living conditions. The aim is crystal clear: to help create environments where children feel safe, worthy, and loved – so they can grow into the world with confidence and care.  

We do this by showing up, listening, and working closely with local communities – planting seeds of joy that can grow over time, one small ripple at a time.

Hi, I am Maaike

Simple. Open. Daring.

I’m a trained psychologist, living and working between Belgium, Nepal, and India. Curiosity guides my path — an interest in how we meet life with openness, learn from experience, and stay present as things take shape. 

My work has grown through years of practice, learning, and listening — to people, to the body, and to different cultures and ways of seeing. I trust in the basic goodness of people, and in the possibility of living and leading with more presence, warmth, and honesty – that also touch those around us.
 
What I share comes from lived experience — walking the path myself and staying close to what is felt and learned along the way. I invite you to explore in that same way: slowing down, learning to feel, and allowing understanding to deepen naturally – within yourself and beyond.
